What is TECNIO certification?
TECNIO certification qualifies research groups and centres for excellence in innovation and knowledge transfer. This certification is awarded by the Government of Catalonia.
What does it cover?
TECNIO agents are specialised in all the sectoral areas included in the National Pact for Industry, drawn up by the Government of Catalonia, and distributed throughout Catalonia.
TECNIO agents generate and develop new products, processes, and services of interest to the Catalan, Spanish and international business sector.
Working with TECNIO agents is synonymous with improvement and growth. All impact indicators show that the TECNIO model generates wealth for companies and the country.
Our petition
With this manifesto we ask policy makers to continue to support and promote TECNIO agents and to recognise them as key players in the technology and knowledge transfer system of the Catalan innovation system.
We want the continuity of the TECNIO model that transforms investment in research into innovation for companies and wealth for the country.
We want the Catalan government to provide TECNIO agents with the necessary resources and structural funding to be able to carry out their activity.
We want the Catalan government to recognise the professional career of researchers who carry out technology transfer which focuses on companies and society.
We want it to be recognised that collaboration between TECNIO agents and companies contributes to job creation and economic growth in the country.
For all these reasons, we, the undersigned members, and representatives of the business sector, sign this manifesto in which we express our support for TECNIO agents and recognise their vital work for the business sector and society.
